Condition monitoring seminar

24.11. – 25.11.2022 in Hamburg

Registration at seminar@cms-wind.de

We are offering an advanced training seminar in the fall in response to numerous requests. The number of participants is limited to 10.

The seminar provides an overview from the origin of the signal to the recording of the measured variables to the final diagnosis. The seminar is for technicians and engineers who want to record measurement data themselves with the mobile devices and interpret the content of the diagnostic reports and for companies who want to interpret our wind farm overviews themselves.

Day 1 – Basics of condition monitoring

  • Causes and mechanisms of damage to rolling bearings and tooth flanks
  • Calculation of kinematic damage frequencies
  • Structure-noise distribution in the drive train
  • Signal generation and processing
  • Special challenges for variable-speed wind turbines
  • Signal interpretation
  • Characteristic value formation in automated damage assessment
  • Limits of automated damage assessment
  • Assessment of damage progress
  • Diagnostic report content for insurance companies
  • Possibilities of our online front end

Day 2 – Workshop

We provide an introduction to the user interface of the devices. In the practical exercise, you will have the opportunity to put a CMSmobil R4+U into operation yourself, test the sensor application for its function and record data sets. We will also explain remote access, which allows you to dial into the devices from the office and change the configuration or trigger measurements as required. Using a simple top-hat rail application, we will show you the internal structure of the devices.
